BIOLYTICALâ„¢ LABORATORIES, A CANADIAN-BASED LEADER IN HIV/AIDS TESTING TECHNOLOGY, ENCOURAGES CANADIANS TO TEST YOUR COMMITMENT

June 28, 2007

Groundbreaking HIV/AIDS Public Awareness and Education Campaign, Including Free 60-Second HIV/AIDS Tests, to Hit Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal Streets This August

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 28, 2007) - bioLytical Laboratories announced today that the company will launch a tri-city HIV/AIDS Mobile Testing campaign this August: Test Your Commitment.

bioLytical is a Vancouver-based company that develops and manufactures the INSTI Kit: a unique, simple-to-use diagnostic kit used in the diagnosis of HIV infection. At 60 seconds for a reading, it is by far the fastest HIV diagnostic kit in the world and the only one approved by Health Canada for point-of-care testing.

"Our mobile testing campaign will be the first of its kind in Canada," says Matt Clayton, COO of bioLytical. "Test Your Commitment is focused on taking the taboo out of testing, and aligning the commitment to getting tested with the commitment to one's own well being and the well being of those around you."

The Canadian HIV/AIDS Information Centre estimates there are more than 15,000 Canadians who are infected with HIV and are not yet aware of the infection. The Test Your Commitment campaign will bring much needed public attention to HIV testing, which has until this date been kept behind 'closed doors'.

The tri-city mobile campaign will offer free HIV testing from the INSTIBus, a 50-foot tour bus complete with six private testing rooms and staffed by trained health care professionals. bioLytical will provide free pre-test counseling, test administration and post-test counseling for approximately 5,000 Canadians during the campaign, as well as promote the clinics and physicians who will be offering this revolutionary new product across Canada.

Test Your Commitment will also provide public awareness and fundraising support for UNICEF Canada's Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign.

"We want Canadians to be the global stewards in the international Unite For Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign," responds Alison Lawton, Chair of UNICEF Canada's Unite Campaign. "I applaud bioLytical's initiative in providing Canadians with a deeper understanding and compassion surrounding the issues the world is facing when it comes to HIV/AIDS."

Dates are as follows:

Vancouver: August 10th and 11th
Toronto: August 17th and 18th
Montreal: August 24th and 25th

Locations will be announced in the coming weeks.

About UNICEF Canada's Unite for Children campaign

In 2006, UNICEF International launched the Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign both to draw attention to the scale on which AIDS has redefined childhood for millions of children and to mobilize increased global support for HIV/AIDS programs that serve children.

UNICEF International's Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign is the largest campaign ever mounted to bring the world's attention to the global impact of HIV/AIDS on children and young people. The campaign does not mark the beginning of UNICEF's work on behalf of children, but is an intensification and acceleration of its on-going programs and efforts to get children and youth in the protection and support they need at local, national and international levels.

UNICEF Canada's five-year campaign goal is to raise $25 million from Canadians to fund projects in priority countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. UNICEF is determined to put the missing face of children affected by AIDS at the centre of the HIV/AIDS agenda, and to make sure that the voices of children and youth are heard on the issues that affect them.
